Heather Smith is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in program management and support work. Currently serving as Program Manager at Atira Women's Resource Society since June 2019, Heather previously worked as a Support Worker at Atira Property Management from July 2018 to June 2019 and at Aboriginal Mother Centre Society from October 2014 to July 2018. Heather holds a Diploma in Family and Community Counselling from Native Education College, completed between 2012 and 2014, which has equipped Heather with the skills necessary to support families and communities effectively.

Their mission at Atira Women's Resource Society is twofold to provide direct services to women and children fleeing violence and to raise awareness of all forms of gendered violence through education and advocacy.
