Jeff Mercado

Jeff Mercado has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Jeff began their career as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit NCOIC at Naval Hospital Okinawa in 2009 and held this role until 2014. Following this, they worked as a Training Manager at Goodfellow AFB, TX, from 2014 to 2021. In 2016, they joined the 17th Medical Group, where they served as an Infection Preventionist and later as the Clinical Superintendent until 2021. In 2019, Jeff joined the United States Air Force as a Flight Chief in the 59 MDSP Dermatology department and remained in this role until 2021. In 2021, they became the Squadron Superintendent for the 59 Medical Specialty Squadron. Finally, in 2022, they took on the roles of Business Analyst and Talent Manager at Atkinson Aeronautics & Technology Inc.

Jeff Mercado has a comprehensive education history. Jeff obtained their Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from American Military University, which they pursued from 2023 to 2026. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Public Health from the same institution between 2020 and 2021. Jeff also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Health from American Military University, which they completed from 2011 to 2018.

Furthermore, Jeff acquired an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General from the Community College of the Air Force and Rowan College at Burlington County in 2006 to 2008. In terms of certifications, Jeff has earned several additional credentials. Jeff completed the "HR Recruiting Communication Strategies to Attract and Retain Top Talent" certification from LinkedIn in February 2023. Jeff also obtained the "Preventing Discrimination & Harassment: US Managers V4.1 2022" certification from Traliant in November 2022. Moreover, they hold the "Veterans at Work Certificate" from SHRM, which they obtained in March 2022.
