Mellissa Gallegos

Mellissa Gallegos is a legal professional with extensive experience in various capacities within the legal field. Currently serving as a Partner at Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo since May 2014, Mellissa's prior roles include Associate and Law Clerk at the same firm, as well as Law Clerk at the EEOC Hearings Unit, where responsibilities included drafting rulings and conducting legal research on discrimination cases. Mellissa also gained experience as a Law Clerk at the Law Office of Enrique Arevalo and the California Department of Justice Office of the Attorney General, contributing to waiver applications, pleadings, and trial preparation. Early career involvement included a Trial Preparation Fellowship at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles and experience as a Contracts Coordinator at the University of California Los Angeles. Mellissa holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Loyola Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Development Studies from UCLA.
