Calum Forbes

Calum Forbes has a diverse work experience in the fields of strategy, business development, commercial management, and consulting. Calum is currently the Strategy & BD Lead at AtkinsRéalis, where they are responsible for business growth and operational performance. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Commercial Manager at Atkins, managing a team responsible for commercial review and negotiation of contracts.

Before joining Atkins, Calum was the Commercial Director (Part-Time) at William Duncan Electrician Ltd, where they defined and delivered the company's strategy and handled various business management activities. Calum also gained experience as an Engineering Consultant at Atkins, specializing in commercial risk management and project delivery.

Throughout their career, Calum has demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in business and corporate strategy, contract management, and financial analysis.

Calum Forbes attended Alva Academy from 2003 to 2009. Calum then pursued a Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Strathclyde from 2015 to 2017, which remained incomplete. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Engineering degree with Distinction in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde from 2009 to 2014. Additionally, Calum Forbes spent a year as an exchange student at the University of Toronto from 2012 to 2013, where they obtained a Masters degree.
