Michaela Ovanes is an accomplished professional in the nuclear industry with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Director of Key Account Management-SNN at AtkinsRéalis since October 2025, Michaela previously held a senior role at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) from February 2018 to August 2025, focusing on nuclear knowledge management, competence, and workforce planning. Michaela's expertise includes a strong background in reactor physics, safety engineering, and technology development, with notable positions at AECL and Candu Energy, where management of multi-disciplinary projects and strategic development of nuclear technologies were key responsibilities.
