Phillip Holmes

Phillip Holmes is an Associate Engineer and Senior Design Manager at AtkinsRéalis since June 2024. Previously, Phillip served as Design Lead at Mott MacDonald Bentley from January 2018 to June 2024, leading a multidisciplinary team dedicated to wastewater non-infrastructure projects for Dwr Cymru Welsh Water. Earlier experience includes Project Lead and Senior Electrical Design Engineer at Aquaswiss AG, overseeing electrical and instrumentation designs in the Middle East and Northern Africa from October 2013 to March 2017. Phillip also worked as a Project Manager at Severn Trent Water from May 2005 to November 2013, managing projects ranging from £0.5MM to £3MM while coordinating efforts among various engineering disciplines. Early career involvement included roles as a Graduate M&E Engineer and Graduate Electrical Engineer at Severn Trent Water and EnergyTech Ltd, respectively. Phillip holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Cardiff University, completed in June 2004.
