Maret Blom de Wet

Maret Blom de Wet is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in teaching and editing within the field of Afrikaans and Dutch. Currently, Maret is a lecturer and short course presenter at Universiteit Stellenbosch Departement Afrikaans en Nederlands, where responsibilities include coordinating courses and presenting academic editing courses. Maret has also served as a judge for ATKV public speaking competitions. Maret's academic background includes a Master of Arts (Cum Laude) and a BA Honours (Cum Laude) from Stellenbosch University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts degree. Recent engagements include participation as a short-term exchange PhD student at Università Ca' Foscari Venezia and involvement in the CETRA Research Summer School in Translation Studies at KU Leuven Faculty of Arts.
