Alex Gilliam (Wood)

Alex (Wood) Gilliam is an experienced communications and social media professional currently serving as the Communications & Social Media Manager for the Atlanta Beltline. In this role since August 2023, Gilliam contributes to one of the largest urban redevelopment programs in the U.S. Prior to this, Gilliam worked at Fire Bee as an Account Supervisor, overseeing social media campaigns and managing significant digital ad budgets. Experience also includes positions at the PGA TOUR, where Gilliam served as a Communications Specialist and Digital Content Producer, and with the American Junior Golf Association, contributing to promotional efforts and online content. Gilliam holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
