Heather Kirksey has a diverse work experience in the field of public relations and sports media. Heather started their career as a Broadcast Associate and Production Assistant at Fox Sports Net South in 2003. Heather then moved on to work as a Sports Producer at WXIA-TV in 2005, where they were responsible for creating content for sportscasts and coordinating live shots. In 2008, they became a Weekend Sports Anchor at WDAM before transitioning to the role of Assistant Sports Director at WTOK-TV in 2005. Heather then joined the Atlanta Thrashers Hockey Club as a Media Relations Game Night Staffer in 1999. Heather later worked as a Co-host of Southern States Showcase at the Southern States Athletic Conference in 2011 and as a Public Relations Coordinator at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta from 2011 to 2014. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Public Relations at the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau.
