Rusty Parker

Rusty Parker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and data analytics, currently serving as the Senior Director of Research & Insights for the Atlanta Hawks since November 2015. In this role, Rusty is responsible for visualizing data and leading research efforts to address strategic questions across the organization. Prior to this, Rusty held the position of Director of Data and Analytics at SHERPA Global, focusing on website analytics to guide digital marketing strategies. Rusty also contributed as a Senior Strategist/Research Manager at The Schapiro Group, implementing advanced research methodologies for various clients. Rusty's career began as a Research Analyst at the Center for Community Research and Development at Baylor University. Educationally, Rusty earned a Ph.D. in Applied Sociology, a Master's in Sociology, and a Bachelor's in Sociology and Economics, all from Baylor University.
