Mary Claire Kelly has extensive experience in legal advocacy, particularly in environmental and climate justice. Currently serving as a DeKalb Staff Attorney at Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Mary Claire has previously held positions as a Staff Attorney at Northeast Legal Aid, Inc. and an Environmental and Climate Justice Attorney through a fellowship with Alternatives for Community and Environment. Prior roles include Climate Justice Legal Fellow at GASP, legal intern at the Southern Environmental Law Center, Greater Boston Legal Services, and Conservation Law Foundation, as well as work with Project South and the Southern Poverty Law Center. Mary Claire obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) from Harvard Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and History from Emory University.
