Chris Salley

Chris Salley has extensive work experience in various roles and industries.

Starting in 1998, Salley worked as an Operations Manager at Leiner Health Products for eight years, where they implemented Lean Manufacturing concepts and conducted employee training.

In 2009, Salley became the Managing Partner at Wireless Unlimited, leading the financial responsibility for a new business that grew to two locations, eight employees, and $1M in annual revenues. They also oversaw employee training and mentoring.

From 2015 to 2018, Salley worked at Ross Stores, Inc. as an Operations Manager and later as the Senior Operations Manager in a large distribution center. They were responsible for managing teams, improving operational efficiency, and monitoring labor and material costs.

In 2018, Salley joined San Antonio ISD as the Director of Strategic Initiatives before becoming the Senior Executive Director of Facilities Services. In this role, they supervised facilities services and initiated strategic projects.

Currently, Salley is employed at Atlanta Public Schools as the Senior Director of Transportation Operations. They oversee transportation operations and ensure effective management.

Chris Salley attended Clemson University from 1986 to 1990 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Management. In 2005, they obtained a certification from the Project Management Institute.
