Melissa St.joy

Melissa St.Joy serves as the School Principal at Atlanta Public Schools since July 2022, bringing extensive experience from previous roles within the district, including Assistant Principal and Coordinator for Teacher Quality. With a strong focus on increasing student achievement, Melissa collaborates with the administrative leadership team to implement effective school improvement plans and drive academic success. Prior contributions include leading professional development for teachers, coordinating curriculum efforts, and providing instructional coaching across various educational capacities. Melissa holds an Educational Specialist degree in Leadership and Administration from Nova Southeastern University and has a Master's in Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
