Karen Chapman

Karen Chapman is an experienced educator and school leader currently serving as the School Principal of Chesterfield County Public Schools since July 2021. Previously, Karen held the position of Assistant Principal at Robious Elementary School and Chesterfield County Public Schools, as well as an Instructional Coach with PCG Education UI and a Gifted and Talented Coach with Cecil County Public Schools. Throughout a diverse career starting with Fairfax County Public Schools as a First Grade Teacher and Resource Teacher in Henrico County, Karen has demonstrated a commitment to developing engaging instructional practices, facilitating professional development, and enhancing student achievement. Karen holds an Ed.S. in Administration and Supervision from the University of Virginia, an M.S. in Elementary Education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, and a B.S. in Elementary Education from Elizabeth City State University.
