Shateena Love

Shateena Love, Ed. D., currently serves as the Interim Assistant Superintendent for Exceptional Education at Atlanta Public Schools since June 2023. Previously, Shateena held the position of Executive Director for Equitable Learning Environments at Indianapolis Public Schools, where significant districtwide initiatives were created and led, along with coaching and evaluating building-level principals. Shateena's experience in educational leadership also includes serving as a High School Principal and Elementary Principal in Fulton County Schools, focusing on professional development, strategic planning, and improving school culture. Earlier roles in Duval County Public Schools encompassed serving as a principal and assistant principal, where efforts were made to drive instructional improvement and increase student achievement. Shateena holds a Doctor of Education in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Varying Exceptionalities.
