Shelante Patton, Ed.D., has extensive experience in the educational field, currently serving as an Assistant Principal and previously as an Interim Principal, Teacher, and Instructional Coach at Atlanta Public Schools since July 2011. Prior experience includes teaching positions at Fulton County Schools from 2006 to 2011 and Clayton County Public Schools in 2006. Academically, Shelante Patton earned a Doctor of Education in Teacher Leadership from Kennesaw State University, a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Reading Teacher Education from Nova Southeastern University, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University.
