Darren Adkins has extensive experience in both hospitality and educational roles. Currently serving as Resident Manager at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Atlanta since October 2012, Darren previously held the position of Program Manager at Atlanta Hospital Hospitality House from September 2006 to September 2012. Earlier in the career, Darren worked as a Valet at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in 2005 and served as a Teacher at Cincinnati Public Schools from 1998 to 2004. Darren holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a focus on African American Studies from the University of Cincinnati, attended Wright State University, and graduated from Woodward High School.

The mission of Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities is to nurture the health and well-being of children and families. At our Ronald McDonald Houses, no family is turned away if they cannot afford the $20 per night contribution and many families stay at the Ronald McDonald House for weeks, and sometimes months, while their children receive medical care.
