Marissa Greider has extensive work experience in the nonprofit sector. Marissa began their career as the Project FIRST Technology Coordinator at AmeriCorps from September 1995 to June 1996. Marissa then interned at the Georgia Museum of Art as a Prints and Drawings Curatorial Intern from January 1997 to June 1997. After that, they interned at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston as a Marketing and Public Relations Intern from June 1997 to August 1997.

Greider then transitioned to the Fernbank Museum of Natural History, where they held various roles. Marissa started as the Manager of Communications from January 1999 and then became the Director of Marketing and Communications from an unknown date to August 2003. Marissa continued to rise within the organization, serving as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications from August 2003 to July 2007, and then as the Campaign Director from July 2007 to March 2011. Marissa then became the Development Director from March 2011 to November 2013, before being promoted to Vice President of Volunteer and Member Services from November 2013 to January 2014.

Currently, Greider is working for the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities. Marissa started as the Director of Development from January 2014 to January 2019, then became the Senior Director of Major and Planned Gifts from January 2019 to February 2023. Finally, they assumed their current position as the Senior Director of Philanthropy from January 2023.
