Jon Reese

Jon Reese is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education, communications, and event management. Currently serving as a developmental editor and writing coach at Ripples Media since April 2024, Jon focuses on assisting first-time authors in creating impactful books. In addition, Jon holds the position of Communications Manager at Applied Mindfulness Training and has been part of the event staff for Live Nation Entertainment, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and The Showpros Group since December 2022. Jon has been self-employed in nonprofit communications since September 2017 and has presented at state and national conferences from 1998 to 2018. Jon's prior experience includes a long tenure at City Schools of Decatur, where roles included teacher, adviser, and program coordinator. Jon's educational background includes an Ed.S. in Brain-based teaching and leading from Nova Southeastern University, a gifted education endorsement from The University of Georgia, and both a M.Ed. in Secondary English instruction and a BA in English and Education from Emory University.
