Vera Ilyushina

Substitute Violinist at Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

Vera Ilyushina currently serves as an Interim Artist Affiliate at Emory University since September 2024 and has been a dedicated Violin Teacher at Lark Violin Studio since 2002. As a member of Lark Chamber Music since May 2009, Ilyushina performs in concert settings and provides background music for various events. Additionally, Ilyushina has extensive experience with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, having been a violinist from November 2000 to August 2002 and currently works as a Substitute Violinist since September 2003. Ilyushina holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in violin performance from Stony Brook University and a Master of Musical Arts in Violin Performance/Pedagogy from St.-Petersburg Conservatory.
