Richard Jakob

Richard Jakob currently serves as the Director of Facility Operations at Atlanta United FC, beginning in October 2023. Prior to this role, Richard held the position of Director of Facilities at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History from November 2021 to October 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing a 70+ acre campus, managing a $1.5 million budget, and supervising a team of facilities personnel. Richard's experience also includes serving as Manager of Office Facilities at Kemira, where operations for multiple office and lab facilities were managed, and as Facilities and Purchasing Manager at Green Ivy Schools, optimizing day-to-day operations for two school facilities. Earlier career experience includes a role as Coordinator of Operations and Facility Services at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, where Richard managed facility services across a large multi-use campus. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from The Ohio State University.
