Samra Tanovic

Samra Tanovic has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2003, they worked as a TV host for Fotoart d.o.o. Sarajevo, where they hosted a weekly ICT-focused program. From 2005 to 2006, they served as a Junior Web Developer at AirABA, handling website design and maintenance. In 2007, they joined Volksbank BH as a Designer of Applicative Software, responsible for developing and maintaining banking software modules. In 2011, they became an IT Operations Engineer at NAVTEQ in Chicago and was responsible for system operations and analysis. From 2012 to 2016, Samra worked as a Product Owner, collaborating closely with clients and stakeholders to prioritize and refine product backlogs. Later, they joined Atlantbh where they held various roles, including Service Lead and Director of Services. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Services and Analytics at Atlantbh. Throughout their career, Samra has shown expertise in project management, business analysis, and software development.

Samra Tanovic completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Department at the University of Sarajevo. Samra attended this institution from 2002 to 2007.

Following their undergraduate education, Samra pursued a Master of Science degree in Color in Informatics and Media Technology through the Master Erasmus Mundus program. Samra concentrated their studies on Computer Vision, Image and Video Processing, Object Recognition, and Color Science. This program lasted from 2009 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Samra also obtained several certifications. Samra received a certification in Machine Learning from Stanford University in June 2016. In February 2016, they acquired the certification of Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) from Scrum.org. Furthermore, they achieved the certification of Cisco Certified Network Associate 2 (CCNA 2) from Cisco Academy Sarajevo in June 2007.
