Aoife Lonergan

Aoife Lonergan has a diverse work experience in the clinical trials and healthcare industry. Aoife began their career at Mercy University Hospital as a Summer Intern, where they completed their college placement in the Dietetics department. During this time, they conducted menu analysis, surveys, and presentations.

After their internship, Aoife joined Atlantia Food Clinical Trials as a Clinical Trial Research Assistant, starting in August 2018. In this role, they gained valuable experience in the field and worked on various clinical trials. Aoife then advanced to the position of Clinical Trial Team Lead in June 2019, where they continued to contribute to the successful execution of trials until April 2020.

In 2020, Aoife joined Atlantia Clinical Trials, a related company. Aoife initially worked as a Project Manager and later assumed the role of Senior Project Manager in September 2022. These positions involved overseeing and managing project activities, ensuring smooth operations and meeting project goals.

Aoife Lonergan completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Sciences from Cork Institute of Technology, from the years 2014 to 2018. Additionally, they obtained a certification in ICH Good Clinical Practice from HRB Clinical Research Facility Cork in September 2018.
