Ed Vint

Ed Vint is the current Chief Information Officer at Atlantic Coast Mortgage. Ed has held this position since December 2014. Prior to this, they were the Director of Information Technology at the same company from January 2011 to December 2014. In this role, they built the company's IT infrastructure from the ground up and managed a variety of contractors in setting up network cabling, internet service providers, and hosted service companies. Ed also developed the company's first policies and procedures relating to information security and user-acceptable use, and established a comprehensive disaster recovery plan including a disk-to-tape backup strategy utilizing Symantec Backup Exec and Dell PowerVault 124t auto uploader. In addition, they hired and managed a staff of four IT professionals, and oversaw all IT needs during a period of rapid growth. Before joining Atlantic Coast Mortgage, they provided comprehensive IT services (helpdesk, server, and infrastructure management) for another mortgage lender on an outsourced basis by creating a multi-tenant configuration including firewalls, networking, remote access VPN and VMware View, along with workstation servers running on a separate Forest and domain.

Ed Vint has a certification from CompTIA in Network+, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), and Security+.
