Dan Hickman has extensive work experience in the food and beverage industry. Dan started their career at Kraft Foods as an Engineering/Maintenance employee from 1996 to 1999. Dan then joined Sara Lee as a Plant Manager from 1999 to 2009. Following this, Hickman worked at Farmer Brothers as the Director of Operations from 2009 to 2014. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Operations & Technical Services at Atlantic Coffee Solutions since 2014.

Dan Hickman earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with a focus on Power and Energy from Old Dominion University, which they attended from 1992 to 1996. Later, from 1997 to 1999, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In 2008, they completed a Six Sigma Black Belt program at The University of Texas at Austin.
