Arvid Bell

Arvid Bell is an accomplished leader and scholar in the fields of negotiation, international relations, and political science. As CEO and Founding Director of the Negotiation Task Force since July 2019, Bell has played a pivotal role in the organization. Additionally, Bell serves as a Millennium Fellow at the Atlantic Council and a Non-Resident Scholar at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies. As an Executive Board Chair and Co-Founder of the Arms Control Negotiation Academy (ACONA), Bell has contributed significantly to the discourse on arms control. Based at Harvard University, Bell has been involved as a Research Cluster Associate at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs and as a Lecturer on Government until June 2024. With a robust academic background, including a PhD in Political Science from Goethe University Frankfurt and multiple master's degrees from prestigious institutions, including Harvard Kennedy School and Sciences Po, Bell combines extensive practical experience with a deep understanding of theoretical frameworks.
