Fernando Larrain

Fernando Larrain currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Communications, Marketing, and Studies at Santander Chile and as a Senior Non-Resident Fellow at the Atlantic Council. Since June 2020, Fernando has been a Senior Consultant at the World Bank, focusing on social protection strategies in Latin America and the Middle East and North Africa. Fernando holds various board positions, including with the International Centre for Pension Management and the AAFP. Previously, Fernando was the CEO of Asociación de AFP de Chile, guiding debates on pension system reforms. Academic roles have included Directorships at Universidad Diego Portales and Universidad Adolfo Ibañez, with a strong background in economics and public policy, including a Master's from Princeton University.
