Mark Scott is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in technology and finance reporting. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Correspondent for POLITICO since July 2017, Mark also holds a position as an International Advisory Board Member for RegulAIte at the University of Amsterdam, advising on AI regulatory research. Previously, Mark has worked as a European Tech Correspondent and Finance Reporter for The New York Times, and as a London Correspondent for Bloomberg BusinessWeek. Additional roles include reporting for ICIS Heren, Buenos Aires Herald, and serving as a Project Manager and Financial/Project Advisor in municipal and academic settings. Mark's academic background includes studies at Imperial College London and the University of St Andrews.
