Maya Edwards

Maya Edwards is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in event management, writing, and social justice programming. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Events at the Atlantic Council since August 2021, Maya has previously held positions that include Staff Writer and Social Media Coordinator at Spheres of Influence, and Student Associate for the Social Justice Engagement Department at the Multicultural Center at The Ohio State University. In the latter role, responsibilities encompassed managing front desk operations, conducting research, and facilitating social justice programming. Additional experience includes roles as a barista at Coffee Connections and a campus representative for Outdoor Voices. Maya holds a degree in International Studies, specializing in International Relations and Diplomacy, from The Ohio State University.
