Reed Blakemore

Reed Blakemore has extensive experience in research and program management within the energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Research and Programs at the Atlantic Council's Global Energy Center since June 2014. Reed progressed through multiple roles at the Atlantic Council, including Deputy Director, Associate Director, and Assistant Director. Prior experience includes positions at the International Institute for Strategic Studies as a Research Intern, and internships with the United States Senate Foreign Relations Committee and Senator Robert Menendez. Reed's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Security Policy Studies from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Redlands, enhanced by a study stint at Universität Freiburg.
