John Conover, PE has extensive work experience in the field of engineering. John started their career at Atlantic County - Division of Engineering in 2006 as an Assistant Engineer. John then went on to become a Senior Engineer and Project Manager from 2010 to 2016. In 2016, they took on the role of County Traffic Engineer and Traffic Unit Supervisor until 2018. Since 2018, John has been working at Atlantic County Utilities Authority, first as a Senior Engineer and currently as the Deputy Chief Engineer.

John Conover, PE completed their education at Rowan University. From 2001 to 2006, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering. Later, they obtained a Master's of Engineering Management degree with a specialization in Project Management, which they completed from 2007 to 2009 at the same university.

In addition to their formal education, John Conover, PE has obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional qualifications. In August 2011, they acquired the Professional Engineer certification from the New Jersey Attorney General's Office. Later, in September 2019, they became a Certified Municipal Engineer through the New Jersey Society of Municipal Engineers. In July 2021, they obtained a certification as a Certified Drone Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration. Most recently, in November 2021, they completed the Environmental Professional Development Academy program offered by the Association of Environmental Authorities.
