Tina Simmons

Tina Simmons has a diverse work background in the healthcare industry. Tina most recently worked at Atlantic General Hospital, where they held various leadership roles, including Director of Population Health and Director of Revenue Integrity. Prior to that, they were the Director of Nursing at the same hospital. Before joining Atlantic General Hospital, Tina worked as the Director of Quality Improvement at Southeast Georgia Health System. Tina also gained experience as a Sr. Performance Improvement Consultant at the University of Maryland Medical System and as a Quality and CDI Manager at UM Upper Chesapeake Health. Tina's earlier work experience includes a role as a Clinical Research Nurse at MidAtlantic Cardiovascular Associates.

Tina Simmons has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on International Business from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Tina also holds a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Goucher College, which they completed from 1996 to 2000. Tina Simmons additionally completed a BSN (Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse) from the University of Maryland School of Nursing from 2003 to 2004. Tina has an additional certification as a LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt in Healthcare from the Management & Strategy Institute.
