Sasha Walek

Sasha Walek, MPA, currently serves as the Communications Director for the Department of Population Health at NYU Langone Health, a position held since March 2018. Prior experience includes key roles such as Director of Communications and Marketing at the Arnhold Institute for Global Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and Associate Director of Media & PR at Mount Sinai Health System. Sasha's background also encompasses extensive experience in broadcast media, having worked as a Booking Producer at MSNBC, Segment Producer at CNBC, and Segment Producer at Bloomberg LP, as well as Senior Editorial Producer roles at both CNN International and CNN. Sasha holds a Master of Public Administration in Health Policy & Management from New York University, a Bachelor of Journalism in Broadcast Journalism from Ryerson University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Toronto.
