Nikki Sumpter

EVP, Chief Administrative Officer at Atlantic Health System

Nikki Sumpter is the EVP, Chief Administrative Officer.

Prior to joining Atlantic Health System, Ms. Sumpter served as SVP of Human Resources and Learning at JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, Texas, where she led the human resources division, network education and learning, occupational health and wellness, and diversity and inclusion functions. Ms. Sumpters’ professional experience in human resources spans more than twenty years.

Ms. Sumpter was a member of the Fort Worth Board of March of Dimes, and is an active member of the DFW Hospital Council Workforce Development Board, and is an advocate and volunteer for families and communities in need through the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

Ms. Sumpter received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Human Resources from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Ms. Sumpter earned a master’s degree in Human Resources Development from Villanova University.

Additionally, she is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources and a Corporate Leadership Council Human Resources Leadership Academy Graduate. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management, American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration, and American College of Healthcare Executives.
