Derek Essery P.eng

Derek Essery P.Eng has a solid work experience in the engineering field. From 1996 to 2005, they worked as a Senior Design Engineer at The Reinforced Earth Company. Then, in 2005, they joined Atlantic Industries as Director of Engineering, where they provided technical leadership and oversaw the engineering department. From 2010 onwards, Derek held the role of Technical Director Engineered Products at Atlantic Industries, where they focused on research and development, product commercialization, design program development and automation, and served as the chief design engineer. Derek also played a vital role in coaching and mentoring for succession planning.

Derek Essery, P.Eng has a strong education background in engineering. Derek attended McMaster University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineer degree in Civil Engineering. In 2019, they pursued executive education at Queen's University, participating in a Leadership Program.
