Steve Shutt

Steve Shutt currently serves as the Communications Director for both the High Point Rockers Baseball and the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, a position held since February 2021 and January 2022, respectively. With extensive experience in athletic communications, Steve previously worked as the Associate Athletic Director for Athletic Communications at Wake Forest University from July 2007 to November 2020, overseeing media relations for an NCAA FBS institution. Additional roles include Associate Athletic Director of media relations at Wofford College, Associate Commissioner at The Southern Conference, and various positions in public relations and sports information at New Mexico State University, Bowling Green State University, and Indian River State College. Steve earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Bowling Green State University in 1980.
