Erbertt Barros

Erbertt Barros is a seasoned mining engineer with extensive experience in mine planning and operations, currently serving as a Senior Short-Term Mine Planning Engineer at Atlantic Nickel since August 2023. Previously, Erbertt held the position of Senior Mining Engineer at Votorantim Cimentos, focusing on short-term mining plans and strategic pit mine planning from June 2022 to August 2023. Erbertt’s career also includes roles at SRN Mineração, where coordination of mineral engineering for an iron ore project was undertaken, and consultancy work at Nap.Mineração, specializing in mine planning and economic feasibility. In addition to practical experience, Erbertt holds a doctorate in Mine Planning from USP, alongside a master’s degree and a bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering. Professional experience is complemented by research, teaching assistance at USP, and internships with regulatory bodies and mining companies.
