APR is a community-based, non-profit agency dedicated to the prevention of the harm caused by substance use and violence (gun violence, school violence and bullying). 

APR offers substance use prevention programs for youth and adults, including: tobacco prevention programs in 7 Counties in Southern NJ; an Atlantic County underage drinking prevention coalition and a local coalition to prevent drug use in youth and young adults; the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program; the Strengthening Families Program (for military families and all families); Life Skills Training; a wellness program for senior adults; and many other programs.

APR also operates an outpatient addiction treatment program for adults.

The Prevention and Education team at Atlantic Prevention Resources, Inc. designs and implements programs aimed at reducing substance use and violence in the community. This team provides essential educational resources and conducts outreach initiatives, including tobacco prevention, bullying prevention, and family strengthening programs. They support coalitions to prevent underage drinking and drug use among youth, delivering tailored interventions and workshops to various demographics, such as senior adults and military families, to promote wellness and resilience.
