Armin Ramirez

Armin Ramirez has an extensive background in the aquaculture industry. Armin is currently the Director of Quality and Fish Health at Atlantic Sapphire, where they are responsible for ensuring quality standards and fish health. Prior to this role, they worked as a Quality Manager at Atlantic Sapphire, where they focused on feed and final product quality as well as implementing certifications for the farm. Armin also has experience as a Sales Manager Aquaculture Nutrition and Health at Syndel, and as an Owner of their own aquaculture consulting business. Armin previously held positions as a Technical Account Manager at Skretting North America, Fish Health and Welfare Manager at Cooke Aquaculture Inc., and Fish Health & Welfare Manager at American Gold Seafoods. In addition, Armin has worked at PHARMAQ, Cia.Pesquera Camanchaca S.A., and Aquatic Health, specializing in fish health and smolt quality management.

Armin Ramirez attended Universidad Austral de Chile from 1993 to 1999, where they obtained a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine degree with a specialization in Veterinary Medicine. Following this, they pursued further education at Universidad Católica del Norte from 2006 to 2014. During this period, they completed a Master's degree in Aquaculture, focusing their studies on the field of Aquaculture.
