Megan Hayes

Megan Hayes is a seasoned environmental specialist with extensive experience in permitting and licensing for energy infrastructure projects. Currently serving as Senior Permitting Lead at both Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind LLC and EDF Renewables North America since February 2022, Megan leads the development and evaluation of new transmission and generation projects, including negotiations on license conditions and stakeholder communication. Prior roles include Licensing Specialist II at the New York Power Authority, where responsibilities involved managing project development and preparing regulatory documents, and Environmental Specialist positions at PS&S and Ecology and Environment, Inc., with a focus on environmental permits and regulatory compliance. Megan holds a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in Marine Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
