Donnie Mather is a Founding Artist of The Adaptations Project, established in 2011, which focuses on creating theatrical works from unconventional source material. Mather has extensive experience in teaching, serving as an instructor at Atlantic Theater School since 1999, and as an adjunct professor at New York Conservatory for Dramatic Art since 2011, specializing in the Suzuki Method and Viewpoints Training. Additional teaching roles include positions at SUNY Purchase, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, New York University, and Wesleyan University, among others. Mather has also contributed as a guest artist at institutions such as Harvard University and Bilkent University. Mather holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from Western Kentucky University.
