Eric Collins

Eric Collins is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit portfolio management and commercial lending. Currently serving as the Credit Portfolio Management Team Leader at Atlantic Union Bank since May 2014, Eric coaches and trains a large team of portfolio managers, enhancing their development and learning. Prior roles include Commercial Portfolio Specialist at StellarOne Bank and SunTrust Bank, where Eric supported relationship managers in underwriting and managing credit portfolios, conducting financial analysis, and structuring loan requests. Eric's early career included roles as a Trust Advisor and Commercial Underwriter at SunTrust Bank, where responsibilities involved managing trust accounts and evaluating credit risks. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech and has completed further education in Financial Planning from Virginia Commonwealth University.
