Alvaro Zarza

Alvaro Zarza is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in managing IT services and business partnerships, currently serving as IT Service & Business Partner Manager at Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure Plc since December 2015. In this role, responsibilities include overseeing IT/OT services, integrating IT for new plants, and managing the IT budget for the Atlantica group. Prior to this, Alvaro held various managerial positions at Abengoa, including Business Relationship Manager and International Service and Desktop Support Area Manager, where tasks involved aligning IT strategies with business goals and managing vendor relationships. Alvaro's career began at Telvent Outsourcing, S.A., overseeing IT services for international clients, and previously included project management roles focused on deploying IT systems for high-speed railways in Spain. Alvaro holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and completed the PDD program at LOYOLA Executive Education, which included stages at Georgetown University and Quinlan School of Business.
