Software Engineer at Atlantis Technology

Albert So has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2011, they began their career as a Native English Teacher in the EPIK program in Korea, where they taught until 2013. Albert then joined the GEPIK Teaching Program as a Native English Teacher from 2013 to 2016.

In 2017, Albert transitioned to the technology industry and worked as an Application Developer at TPx Communications until 2020. During this time, they gained experience in software development and application design.

From 2019 to 2020, Albert took on the role of Product Owner and Scrum Master at Bernie BNB, where they oversaw project management and ensured the successful delivery of products.

Since 2020, Albert has been working as a Software Engineer at Atlantis Technology. Here, they have been involved in various projects including the KGA Mobile Project, where they built a React Native app and implemented features such as login, API integration, and state persistence. Albert also contributed to the KGA Project, where they enhanced user engagement on an existing platform and implemented real-time chat functionality. Additionally, they worked on the SchoolCNXT Project, handling iOS and Android deployments, developing new API endpoints, and ensuring security compliance.

Throughout their work experience, Albert has showcased their skills in software development, project management, and teaching.

Albert So completed a full stack web development program at Bloc from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Illinois Chicago, spanning from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Albert also obtained the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in August 2019.
