Andries de Bock

Vice President Engineering Industrial Vacuum Division at Atlas Copco

Andries De Bock has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles within the vacuum and compressor industry. Andries began their career at Atlas Copco Airpower in 2012, where they served as a Project Leader Engineering for the GA18-37VSD+ project until 2014. From 2014 to 2015, Andries worked as a Project Manager at Quincy Compressor, focusing on the localization of GAR railway compressors. Andries then joined Edwards Technologies Vacuum Engineering (Qingdao) Co.,ltd, where they held multiple roles including NPI Manager from 2015 to 2017 and Engineering Manager from 2017 to 2019. Most recently, Andries joined Atlas Copco in 2019 as the Vice President of Engineering for the Industrial Vacuum Division.

Andries De Bock completed their education with a degree in the IMP - International Management Program from the Stockholm School of Economics in 2019. Prior to that, they attended the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) from 2017 to 2018, where they participated in a leadership development program focusing on Business Administration and Management. Andries also holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Electromechanical Engineering, which they obtained from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool between 2001 and 2005. Andries completed their high school education at Sint-Jozef Klein seminarie (Sint-Niklaas) from 1995 to 2001, specializing in Latin & sciences.
