Carolyn Garner

Carolyn Garner is an experienced tax professional currently serving as UK Tax Manager at Atlas Copco since September 2018. Carolyn has a significant tenure at Ørsted, holding the position of Lead Tax Specialist since May 2011, where responsibilities include managing a large portfolio of group companies, advisory work, compliance, and tax risk management, with notable expertise in employment taxes and serving as Chair of the Pensions Governance Committee. Carolyn previously worked as Tax Manager at Murco Petroleum Ltd from June 2005 to May 2011. Educationally, Carolyn holds a Master's degree from Newnham College, Cambridge, obtained in 1988, as well as an Honours degree in History from the same institution, earned from 1982 to 1985.
