Dr. Frank Brand

Dr. Frank Brand has a diverse and extensive work experience in various companies and positions. Dr. Frank started their career as a Research Scientist at RWTH Aachen University, where they organized lectures and workshops for students and trained adults in database management. Following this, Dr. Brand worked as a Development Engineer at ELSA GmbH, where they developed driver software for an MPEG Decoder, an ASIC for a modem controller, and software and hardware for a video-conferencing application.

Dr. Frank then moved on to NXP Semiconductors, where they held two roles. First, as Principal System Architect, they coordinated development activities, conducted strategic product planning and marketing, and facilitated transfer activities between the USA, Germany, and India. Additionally, they organized HW-SW codesign activities and integrated development flow from algorithmic system modeling to silicon validation and design-in. Later, as Principal Program Manager, they led multiple teams and engineers, driving HW and SW development, validation, and design-in support.

Their most recent position was at Atlas Elektronik, where they served as Head of Mechatronics, overseeing various departments and leading the development of data acquisition and processing systems in naval areas. Overall, Dr. Frank Brand has demonstrated a wealth of experience and expertise in both technical and leadership roles throughout their career.

Dr. Frank Brand began their education in 1985 at RWTH Aachen University, where they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering. Dr. Frank completed their studies in 1994 and earned the prestigious title of Dr.-Ing.
