Kurt Liebich

Kurt Liebich serves as the President of the Idaho State Board of Education and has been a member of the board since January 2020. In addition, Kurt holds the position of Operating Partner at Atlas Holdings LLC since September 2009, and has served on the boards of various organizations, including as a member of the Board of Advisors at Hayden Beverage and H.D. Fowler Company, as Chairman of the Board of Managers at New Wood Resources, and as a member of the Board of Directors at Huber Engineered Woods. With leadership roles in Project Lead The Way and RedBuilt, LLC, where Kurt was both Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer until March 2024, Kurt also previously held positions as a member of the Board of Trustees at Riverstone International School and as Vice President of Marketing at Weyerhaeuser. Kurt earned an MBA in Management from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Bowdoin College.
