Mary Beth Burns

Mary Beth Burns is the current recruiter at Atlas MedStaff. Mary has also been a licensed real estate agent with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties from June 2020 to October 2021. Prior to that, they were an assistant principal at Fulton County Schools from July 2008 to June 2020. There, they supervised more than 60 direct reports, including teachers, paraprofessionals, custodial staff, and professional assistants. Mary was also responsible for analyzing discipline data, developing and implementing a positive behavior program and staff training, which resulted in a decrease in office referrals and a 50% reduction in school suspensions. In addition, they developed and delivered high-quality professional development to teachers on instructional strategies, assessment uses, and positive learning environment.

Mary Beth Burns has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from The University of Alabama and an Ed.S in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, from Georgia College & State University. Mary also has a Master's degree in Educational Psychology from Georgia State University.
