Niels Veldhuis

Niels Veldhuis is an experienced leader in economic research and executive mentorship. Currently serving as Regional Chair Elect for YPO Canada and Chapter Chair for YPO B.C., Niels has held multiple leadership roles within YPO, including Learning Officer and Membership Chair. Additionally, Niels has been the President of The Fraser Institute since June 2002, contributing to the organization in various capacities such as Vice President of Research and Senior Economist. Niels also serves as an Advisor for the Atlas Network's Center for U.S. and Canada. Niels has a solid academic background, holding a Master of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Joint Major in Economics, both from Simon Fraser University. Moreover, Niels has experience as an Economics Professor at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
